Does anyone in the LA area know of a reputable person that I could take some of my rifles to to get a legitimate appraisal for insurance? I have a 1894 rifle in 30WCF special edition (take down barrel, tiger stripe stock) that by the serial # was made in 1896. I also have a 1894 saddle ring carbine in 22-32 (I think) and a pump action 22 gallery gun that is of the take down variety.

Any leads?

B&B (aka: BubleBee) on Parthenia (sp) was a good shop...then there was another shop a couple blocks from Van Nuys Airport that was huge and dealt in new and very old guns...

I haven' bought/sold guns in several years so have lost touch...

B&B (the gun shop that loaned AR15's to the LAPD durring the North Hollywood shoot out) is out of business, as is Pony Express in Van Nuys. Both places are sorely missed. Any other leads?
