Truly Outstanding. We need more of these people.

A lot better than when I came home from Viet Nam. Young girl (I can still see her face like it was yesterday) walked up, called me a baby burning son of a bitch and spit on me. I guessed they (she had a couple of guy 'body guards') picked me, because she walked right past 2 Marines and an Army guy to get me. Wasn't she and friends surprised when I decked her. Army guy backed off her 'friends'. 9:30 am Christmas Eve, 1968 a real low spot in my life.

I know you nam vets were treated like shit.....I want to say that I am Truly sorry for the way you American Soldiers were treated and spit on among other things. When I stepped off the plane coming back from desert storm, the first thing that went through my mind (lost my cousin in nam) was how shitty ya'll were done made the welcome I came back to just not seem right.

I second that. Thank you to all the vets, past and present. For without you, "The home of the free" wouldn't exist....................
