Well I went and paid for it today.

Decided to go with another Glock 19.

I had one years back and liked it so that was my first choice back in the Glock Business.

Going through the process and should have my new toy tomorrow.

Congrats....

But why did you choose a 9mm? The only time I carried a 9mm was when it was the only choice... I own 2...but never liked that caliber...

Now that I have questioned your manhood.....:Waving:

And I own 2 plastic pistols and they weren't my first choice either.....just can't get over the Colt 1911 45acp.....

again congrats and burn a few............

Well my past 19 was a nice piece and its best for the wife when I travel as she has been trained and felt comfortable with that model for home protection.

I will be stepping up in a few months and this will be hers.

I still like the glocks but since I am rebuilding my collection I am seeing other options for me in the future

Oh yes my manhood is hid in the bedroom (wife wont let me take it out and play with it) with a 30 round clip ready to blow a hole in the wall and yes its legally registered to me.

Mike :)

Once upon a time, the only semi-auto I could carry onduty was a SW 59..so I carried it cuz backup was 30 minutes or more away and I wanted all the ammo I could carry..

Then the Sheriff we buried yesterday, said we could have 1911s..I immediately bought a new Colt and carried it through 2 more Sheriffs...then we were forced to carry a Glock 40cal...22/23 if I remember correctly...I held onto my 1911 until the bitter end...I was in the very last conversion class with the Sheriff...even though he ordered the conversion, he was reluctant to change either and I gave him shit about it...

I recently bought a Glock mini-45acp...mod 36 I think....I still carry the 1911 when I can, but bought the smaller 45acp when it is more appropriate...

Glock is an easy pistol to maintain and shoot...however 1911 shooters have to readjust their muscle memory due to different grip angle...

You made get up and go check the model...yes, it is a 36...checked specs...the .45acp baby Glock is 1/4" longer than the baby 9mm...basically the same gun dimensions...

I am toying with the idea of stepping up to the .45. SO was heavy into 9mm until recently, and now everyone is chaing to .45.

Don't have any Glocks. I'm into Beretta's, Rugers, and Walther's but in my mind any gun is a good gun..

Enjoy and always be safe..

Rugers and Walthers are very nice. I like both of those and Colt's, S&W's and Lugers to name just a few.

Way cool. I have a Walther P-38 from 1942 Nazi marked. Works great, just got to use silver jacketed rounds only, plain target rounds jam now and then.

Have you seen a Walther PPS yet in person? I've been looking for one, but no one has them. I'd like to trade my XD-9 for an XD-40, since I already have the holsters to fit and everything, but I'm holding out to see what the difference is in dimensions of the PPS. It's supposed to be a lot slimmer.
