I slept in today until 6:00 AM. What a slacker I'm becoming.
Nothing much going on here today. Too hot to ride.

Good morning and happy morning after. Went out exploring the local watering holes with a few friends last night. WTF was I thinking? Well, I sort of survived.
Everyone have a great day.

Good morn...........um..........er.............ahhh.... ......Afternoon folks!!! Slept in late myself today then went out and cleaned out the garage and finished cleaning up my shop. Getting dark an thundering right now.......may be getting some rain soon.
I was up at 5AM...but knew we had the Rugrat today...so I went to ACE Hardware and got the guts to fix the kitchen faucet....turned the water off at the valve on the side of the house...fixed the faucet then went to turn the water back on....the shutoff valve shaft broken inside...meaning no water....
I loosen the housing and hit the side of the valve to free the stuck valve and retightened so we had water again....
The municipal water valve has never been operated in the 30 years we have lived in this house...I had to dig out 3" of dirt on top of it....
As I am heading back to ACE Hardware to get a new water valve for the house line and a Water "T" tool, I see CalWater truck stop at the other end of the street....I explain the situation and they say the present job should take 45 minutes and then they will come and check their valve and free it...
They came by, I am glad it was him that put that much torque on the valve and not me....but he did get it broke loose...so now I can turn off the water at their valve and change my valve...but by this time my wife had left shopping and I had the granddaughter...so she got me out of any more plumbing Ah-sh.......
Playing with a Rugrat is more fun than repairing plumbing...but guess what is on the honey-do list for the morning....did I ever tell anyone I hate plumbing........

I totally understand, Ron. Plumbing is NOT my favorite sport!
Ya, and when you're done playing with the Rugrat, you still have to do the plumbing.

Read my Sunday report...I broke a pipe.........
Taking care of the Rugrat was lots more fun than digging out a broken pipe....
