A little explanation. My wife is as bad a gadget freak as I. Every time a new game boy or hand held came out, she had to have it. The only reason she still has a Blackberry instead of an iPhone is because her work won't support the it.

So, for Mothers Day we got her an iPad. She already had an iPod and iTouch so this was the natural progression. Took it out of the box, plugged it into her computer and it accessed iTunes, registered itself on line, and duplicated everything that was on her other hand-helds.

It is quite an amazing little computer. Operates exactly like her iTouch or my iPhone, is one hell of a lot faster than my 9 1/2 Asus notebook machine, and will run on batteries 9 hours instead of the 1 1/2 of my little guy. Graphics are outstanding!

Funny you should ask

Bought her the 32 gig unit. She had most of her pictures and half her music and used 20 of her 32......

Soooooo, went back and got her the 64 gig. I'm using her 'old' one... Hand me down

Hey Mark!

Been a long time since we heard from ya... Was getting worried. Even old DH mentioned you. Heather said she hadn't heard from you

I see you are lurking 'over there'. You should drop in. Lots of changes, lots of new peeps

Hope all is well with you and your family! I'll say hi for you at HST

Know the feelings when the kids grow up and fly the coop. Lonely for a while then you get used and enjoy the privacy

Vesta and I are doing fine. I'm fighting a monster head cold. Didn't go to the Cali Rally because I'm suck and they were forecasting rain the whole 400 miles from here to there. We Southern Californians are sissies. Vesta and I are in Arizona where it is hot and dry

You still at Cat? I remember when the economy really sucked you were facing a layoff. Hope it works out for you.
