Calendar

I have recieved a request from a member to do a calendar using the old sites photos. I have responded and copied Kile on the response. If kile will send them to me I will create a calendar using them with no site name unless he wants a name on it.

If Kile does not respond by 12/14/2006 (one week) we will have a very fast photo collecting thread to create a 2007 HDB members callendar.

I never closed the old HDB cafe press account and its still up with the old stuff.

One way or another we WILL have a calendar for the members by the members.

It will as always be sold at cost.

If you were a SOM at that site please feel free to send me the photo in high resoulution and the month it was.

So Members here if you were SOM there send the photo to me and I will get them to slowhound for the calendar.

If we have months missing we will fill them in from the HDB v2.0 site quickly.

june= Hodawwg (HDB) (We Have Permision) pic on the HDB Server

may= Johnny Reb (Got it w/permission) He wants pic listed as Traveller as he had changed his logon

apr= Unyalli he is in.....

mar= David Farrell-Garcia (pic on the HDB Server..contact made..we have permission)

feb= Colorado located he is in

jan= Johnny Ray HDB Member and We have the High Res

The remaining have to be located and asked if they would like to participate in the calendar.

JAMS is the only one outstanding.....somebody find him..

YES YES YES...

I personally contacted FDS and DaveT...they sent me the pics and I forwarded them on to Slowhound....I am being very careful to ask and stay neutral....we don't have hi-res copies so the named persons have to submit a copy if they wish to have their former SOM included.

I have discussed this with Mike before I did anything.....

I edited my previous post listing months/pic to include the ones I have contacted and have pic/permission....things are moving along very nicely..scroll back up a few posts....

There are 2 that I do NOT have any contact info on...JAMS and COLORADO....

I have yet to here from Jams or Colorado...I located an old email for Colorado and I am trying it...the only lead I have on Jams is VTF, I am no longer a member there....hoping somone here is and will try to get message to him..

Unfortunately, the picture that I posted in this thread is the only one that exists. It's not very high-res so it'll have to do.

Bike: 2005 Road King Custom / Pearl Yellow
Location: Whidbey Island Wa.

This is Helen's first bike. She got tired of riding on back of my Road King
and wanted her own bike. She took the MSF course, I then spent a couple
weeks training her in a parking lot on my Road King (yeah, she dumped my
bike once. It hurt. Not the bike, it was ok, she was ok, but I felt it!). I
did not let her know so it would not discourage her. She finally graduated
from the parking lot to the street and started going with my small group on
rides up and around the Cascades. Her first big ride was to Billings,
Montana for the HOG National Ralley. I was jealous of all the attention she
was getting with her big blonde hair and bright yellow bike so I traded my
RK in on a '07 Street Glide in Cobalt Blue (decided not to dye my hair
blonde) and the brighter color does get my bike more attention from
onlookers, but only if she is not riding with us, then it is all about her.

The information on my picture is as follows:

The motorcycle is my 2002 Harley Davidson Ultra, nicknamed "Sir Chrome"

The location was in my driveway right after I rolled the bike out, getting ready for the first ride after spending the summer undergoing 40 radiation treatments and battling Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer... a result of exposure to Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970.

The date was Wednesday, October 4, 2006.<<<<<

I revived the calendar idea and did some leg work, but we all need to thank Wayne and Chris for taking the lead on this project......
