I would ask where the oil is coming from, but knowing Noodles, I would expect something like: "From the engine!"

It is just the bad karma coming from him wetting down a Poleeeeeeeeece Car...
Until he goes back and wash/wax that Patrol, his HD will continue to leak...:363:

Where's it coming from?
Get some engine degreaser and clean it thoroughly so your not chasing oil that has blown from somewhere odd. Then get a small bright flashlight, and chase it down. Some oil leaks are easy to find and fix. Others, are not...
My riding partners old 04 work bike started leaking, and it took our lead mechanic 8 hours to fix it. He had to pull the whole primary to get to the bad seal. When he got it all buttoned up, the starter failed. The bike was close to 40K, and a new starter motor was some ridiculous price. He condemned the bike, and sent it to auction. Ever seen a Mac tool chest kicked? Repeatedly...:boese017:
Or, got any warranty left? How about a "good will" fix from the dealer if the warranty is up?
I had drips from mine just before the 2008 Laughlin River Run...degreased the heck out of the bike...then put different colored fluid in each hole....Redline stuff in the tranny...had red on the bottom of the engine when I got home...made it easy to tell where the leak was coming from and yes, Dealer had to pull the primary to replace the shaft seal...glad it was on their dime...seems to be a common leak....
