Tomorrow morning is the Tri-County Toy run from Temple to Lampassas. It is supposed to be 31° at registration and 59° at destination.
I don't know. 40° is my cutoff when I can control it.:123: :olderrr: :action-smiley-083:

You put on gloves, your fingers disappear......
You put on boots, your toes are gone....
You put on a helmet, you must live in Mississippi where it is the LAW to wear a helmet when riding..................What was this thread about????

The toy run here in Little Rock is today. It's 30 outside right now and supposed to be 45 or so by the end of the run. It's too freakin' cold!

Jim if ya go good luck with the run no matter what the temp. I ain’t afraid of nothin’ but those things scare me? I still help organize some, have one tomorrow for a local charity the Unity Shope but no way am I riding it.
You’ll be riding with a lot of egos on high intensity. Anyway that’s how I see it so be careful there are always people that are uncomfortable with group ridding that go to get over the fear? Even had two guys with learner permits show up at one ride. They didn’t go because part of the ride was freeway and that was illegal for them? Always have people popping’ wheelies, dropping back & gassing it back to the group, riding over the line on blind curves, and taking pics the whole time.
Didn’t want ramble but those things freak me out and I care about you. Now don’t that make ya feel all warm & fuzzy.

31 degrees sounds like good weather to sleep late in. Hope the temps go up fast as the sun rises.

I'm thinking about going for the registration and breakfast and then riding my own roads to the end for the lunch.:fam02:

By noon it should be close enough to 50 that I can survive.:HaHaHa:

The Merritt Island, Fl. toy run is tomorrow. High 82 low 64 No rain.
Should be a blast. last year they est.ed 25,000 bikes.
Mel gathered, bagged and hand tied two very full leather bags worth of 3"-5" stuffed animals to throw to the kids all along the whole route.
This should be interesting!
We enjoy the hell out of toy runs.
I have been looking forward to this one for 2 years! That's the last time that we got to go to it because fs was in school last year on the day that it was held. It's a 20 mile route - completely blocked off for us and the whole route is lined with kids. My favorite ride of the year!

:whatshesaid: Silk long johns work just as well for retaining body heat, and they don't add the bulk that thermal does, so your jeans will still fit!
