Na,just move over to AZ.still on the big Island and a pretty good chance you wont see one.But like Robert said ,not WVA,and it's only an 2 hr ride from here.

I wonder where they got htier stats and how they are determined...population/miles traveled, etc, etc...
I have seen too many deer and some elk along I40 and I17....everytime I drive I17, I am white knuckled...espeically during hours of darkness...you see dead elk on I17 almost everyday....
Lately, we have had more bear hits than deer around here...only once did I come near hitting a bear....
So Jim, go find a beach house with a LARGE patio/balcony....where can all come and stretch out a hammock...my retirement might even pay for a beer or two...but not much more..............

We managed to prove those stats accurate when we were in Sturgis in 07...

On a side note, we had a big horn sheep cross in front of us on a ride around Lake Mead last weekend. He was a big dude, too...

That thing has to be wrong-I saw 3 dead deer on the road TODAY in differant areas!
