I set up a new, cheap emachine desktop...so I had to pull everything off my desk and get rid of the snakes that had overpopulated the desk....looks better...

Trying to get back in the routine of going to the gym..went yesterday...as I was finishing my coffee this morning...the winds of change started....swirling, gusts to 40 mph...if I had finished my coffee sooner I would have been out in that crap on the bike...guess there are benefits to being old and slow...........

clear this morning and in the 50s...but weather guesser says more "heavy" rains later today (west coast heavy does not equal that the rest of the nation calls heavy)...

Parked the bike in the parking lot at work and put plastic bags over the GPS and Sirius Radio....GPS is s'pose to be waterproof...and I have ridden in the rain with it exposed, but easy to slip a bag over it...JUST as long as we don't get 50 mph winds again today....some 80 mph gust in the mtn passes yesterday...on the mtn just south of me, a tree fell into a house and killed a kid inside...

Rode a little over 300 miles yesterday to Junction. The cold front that was supposed to come in yesterday evening came in early. We hit the edge of it between Llano and Mason and it started raining. Not too bad at first. Then the winds hit and the temperature dropped about 20°.

Today looks like a good day to stay wrapped up in a blanket, drinking hot beverages and watching football.

I'm not even going to tell you what my bike looks like.

I'm told that Bourbon St. in New Orleans was more packed and riotous last night than on Mardi Gras day. Tomorrow in NO, there is a victory parade with the Saints team riding through the streets. I may have to go into the city just to see this one.

I got some riding in myself this weekend. Rode to Big Spring Friday, and to Kermit yesterday. . . I guess I got in 500 miles total. It sure was nice. I guess that will have to sustain me over the next two weeks of work in Big Spring and then moving. :Angel_anim:

Almost lunchtime and about 2 inches on the ground and vehicles. The temperature is now down to freezing so it is just starting to stick to the roads. The bridges are starting to freeze over and none of the customers are coming in so BW said we might as well go home.

Weather guesser was saying Mon/Tues sunny and high 60s, low 70s.....just looked at the current forecast...rain starting tomorrow Morning..........

Auto Club Formosa drags this weekend with John Force in attendance...wanting to get the Rugrat back this weekend...weather guesser is saying chance of rain Friday thru Sun...actually a chance of rain all the rest of the week..........we are in a drought, but I am getting a bit ticked at the weather gods....my bikes are filthy........
