86*F and I am sunburned...rode the Harley north 100 miles and got the Grandson...brought him back here...the dirt bikes in the pickup and hour later we are playing in the dirt....but I don't remember it hurting this much 30 years ago.....if I can get out of bed in the morning, I will take him out for a couple more hours of dirt before I have to take him home...

Mornin all, snow, snow, snow and it's melting as we speak. 45 degrees here as I have my second cup o coffee, we had around 16" of the white stuff over the weekend. Good thing for warm temps this time of year, it should all be melted by tomorrow. With the exception of the piles and piles that were scraped off the streets to make them passable. I'll try to post some pictures tonight when I get home.

Like pouring water on a sponge that just came out of the bucket. The riverws are over their banks and even had a report of wild hhogs running loose on the highway where they had to swim out of the swamp. Looks like you had some tougher weather this afternoon according to the national outlook. Some of it looked nasty.

Bad enough for me to have to run out of school over to the EOC and fire up the radios before quitting time. We took some heavy rain and hail with a few funnel clouds spotted here and there. Lots of local street flooding and the usual bad rain stuff. It was over by 3:00 P.M. Today is nice, clear, and cool. Hope it stays that way. Everyone have a great day....and stay out of the rain.

Just past noon...but not evening by any stretch....

Picked up the grandson on the HD yesterday and brought him down here to dirt ride...got in some good riding and wonderful weather the wind just started to kick up as we left....bikes stayed on the pickup so if the weather held we could ride again this morning....

Well the weather at sunrise was wonderful...fixed him waffles and filled his belly...fired up the truck and moved it down the driveway to make it easier to load up gear and sodas...everything loaded...the truck fires comes up to 1000rpm then dies out like no gas....the tank was 3/4 full when I parked it...I will go into this deeper on another thread....we offload the bikes so we can push the truck out of the way for the other vehicles...I find the problem and now we can go again...

Reload the bikes, gear and sodas....off we go...the weather is still great...get 5 miles from the turn to head towards the mountains and I see dust swirling in the oilfields....get to the turn off and the wind is blowing 30-40...not gusting but a steady 30-40mph right down the road I am going to take...I see a dust storm really brewing so we call it and come home...

Just a slight breeze at my house...Unload the bikes and gear...dammmmn...

Start washing the bug guts off the truck....the dusk storm hits here...so much for a clean truck and no chance to wash any bikes...

Forecast is for high winds through Monday night and chance of rain and t-storms Tuesday.......

Hope somebody got in some riding today.......

Good morning. Today is the 2 year anniversary of the day the nice lady in the SUV and I met on Hwy. 90 and I got the nice titanium plates in my ankle. Gld to be alive as I reflect back on that morning and realize that I probably shouldn't be here today. But I did make it and am glad to be here among friends and family. Everyone have a great day!

Got the Ultra out, I am surprised by just how much the fairing knocks down the extra winds. After picking it up at the dealer yesterday, it didn't take long to put a couple hundred miles on the skins. :woohoo:

Tomorrow, I will get some of it...at oh-dark-thirty when I hit the mtn pass it will be 32-34*F...then 3-4 hours later it will be 90*F on the desert around Blythe......this is going to be interesting layering of riding gear......

Talked to Ron last night. He was about 60 miles from Las Cruces after an 800 mile day. About 600 more to do and he will be in Junction. He should be pretty tired by then, I'm guessing.

Big storm here last night, rain, hail, and a whole lotta wind. Good thing I had my tools and lumber tarped for the garage. Started with the sill plate last night, got it all drilled and marked for studs. Tonight I start nailing walls to put up, Saturday will begin setting walls and putting on sheathing. :278:
