I took a little ride Christmas Eve and then washed my bike up nice and purty for the Christmas Day ride.

Christmas Day I just ate and slept all day.

He got out of the hospital about a week ago and is recovering at a senior care home close to his home. He is doing well, walking with the aid of a walker and his burns are healing well.

I'm tired. I caught a small cold last Friday and it has really drained me. Can't sleep, achy, sinus running, and my head feels about the size of a basketball. I'm gonna try the bourbon medicine tonight, maybe that will help.

Daryl, I hope the CDC in Georgia came up with the right flu bug blend this year...I sure don't want what the granddaughter had over the weekend...

I had a couple rides planned...one going and getting the other rugrat and taking him for a ride...but sick here and sick at his house a 100 miles away...so the bike mainly stayed in the garage...we just finished out 5th day of 70+ temps...s'pose to cool back into the 60s and slight chance of rain tomorrow afternoon...I may still get to ride to work and to the doctors after work...

Mornin all, yes it's snowing here and drizzling, making the drive to work treacherous with all the crazy people out there. I got in early, so hard telling how many accidents there were this morning.


Tonya, I could use a small vacation, but taking care of Dad and making sure he gets what he needs is a challenge right now. His burns are healing very well and he should be out of the care home in a couple of weeks or so. We have been concentrating on getting his house all straightened around so he can move around in it with a walker. They are supposed to have an inspection today but I doubt that will happen with all the ice and snow. His spirits are good and all of the dimentia has disappeared from his stay in the hospital. My brother went to Florida for an extended stay, so that leaves me and Kay to get things done. I've been averaging around 130 miles a day on the truck just getting things around and going to see him for an hour or two each day.

Enough of my ranting.
