Now according to some thermodynamics and physics stuff I was taught a buch of years ago, lower pressure in the air cools it. Considering that Moo-U football really sucked this season....well, you get the idea.

Mornin all, it's up to 12 degrees here already. 1 or 2 inches of the white stuff on the ground here as well. Roads are icy in spots, the salt helped remove any on the major highways. I really hate salt:badmood:, it gets into everything and it promotes rust. The bike will stay in the garage until the rain washes the salt off the roads. Except for New Years day, I will ride for the New Year, like I do every year.

Mornin all, 23 lovely degrees here with sun and warmth by afternoon. 44 for a high today with light winds.


I think it is just about that cold in my office this morning. Yesterday afternoon, someone in an suv crashed into the corner of our building. Someone said he passed out at the wheel (medical problem) and continued from an intersection. He ran across a bank lawn, hit there dumpster and pushed it toward our building, then crashed into the corner of our building. The vehicle knocked out our gas main as well as broke our air compressor from it's mounts and pushed it across the floor.

We are now without compressed air for working and without gas for heating. Dayum it's cold in the office, but with a coat on it is bearable.

Just hope the guy that hit us makes it okay, they transported him via ambulance after the accident.

On the Left coast....it was 35* riding in this morning...it is just 44* now...but sunny...so the ride home will be nice....

All the Mtn Passes around me are clsoed due to snow...I5 closed...

Just saw CHP log that they were preparing to open SB when a BMW ran the barrades and hit a CalTrans Worker...Hit and Run...that Beemer driver is in Deep Suff when caught....so CHP are now working a Hit and Run Injury accident instead of opening the route and escort dumbsheets.....

Hope the injuries are minor...a couple CHP have been killed up there by being hit in the past few years..
