FEDEX does its own hub thing and the airport at Alliance (Ft. Worth is a main hub) before everything goes to Memphis, TN to be shipped back out.

I don't like FEDEX but that iw what newenough.com uses....unless you want to pay extra for something...if FEDEX is such a PITA in Central TX...they must be giving newenough very good rates for them to use them..oh well...the bike of the riding pants were very good...

What are you cooking and can you mail me some?!? :D
The menu starts with some ribs as appetizers followed later by Crepes Barbara, a mixture of shrimp and crabmeat done in a white wine sauce and rolled in a crepe covered with Mornay Sauce, then I have some twice baked potatoes (Cajun Style) to go with some marinated glazed ribeyes (one of the marinade ingredients is whiskey...) which will cook with a slight glaze when the time comes. Also have some Cajun baked beans and lots of cold brew. Tonya, can't mail any (probably won't be much left), but I can cook it all for ya anytime you pull into the driveway!

Oh how I wish I could, Darryl!!! Maybe next time. I'm headed off to Austin on Wednesday to go to my brothers wedding, so no time now.
Daryl is taking good food and I had a Subway Sandwich on my ride today...at least I got a 150 miles in twisties...first time in a month that I got out for a "just cuz" ride........felt good...but a gut-busting meal to top it off would have been better..........
Back to the grind tomorrow...teachers are back tomorrow and kiddies the following week...PITA time of trying to get all the loose ends tied together.......

Good morning, everyone. Aingotnun made it to my place around 2PM and we tore up a case of Shiner Bock and a lot of Newcastle by bedtime. Also pigged out to the extent that my pants are a bit snug this AM. Blew my just started diet to hell in a handbasket. Back on it this AM until goal of 200 or less is reached. Greg had to leave in a nasty downpour today, but we checked the radar and it looks like he will be wheels dry once he crosses into Louisiana. Really was good seeing him in person. He has all the pix in his camera, so it'llbe a day or so before any pix show up.

Good morning Ladies and Gents!!!! Looks like a rainy weekend here...........crap.
You and me---drinking coffee while everybody else sleeps it off.
Yep, my eyes rolled open at 4AM today...got up and drank a pot of coffee...as the sun came up, I went out and dumped the Ride-On sealant in the rear tire...took a shower and rode it to sling the sealant around inside the tire...picked up some new spark plugs...I think I only have just over 5k on the set in the bike...I have records, but they are in the tour pack...anyway, picked up some plugs and o-rings at the HD dealer....
I figure with the price of gasoline and a 3k trip, if the new plugs only give me 1-2 mpg over used one...they will pay for themselves easily....nice to have everything you can do up and right before you leave on a trip...
Looked at a new mesh armored jacket, gal is suppose to buy an old computer off me on Monday, if she does then I get a new jacket for the trip...otherwise I ride with the old one...

I had a great time. . .drank way too much crown last night so I'm glad I spent the night in Lubbock. Got the tow package on the truck, brought it home then hopped on the bike and headed back to Lubbock. Had a great dinner at the Lone Star Oyster Bar. . .met a lot of new folks to ride with. I'm full, content and sleepy. . . :)

Good morning. I'm getting rady to head for the EOc to do battle with the weatehr again. Tropical wuss Fay is pissing on the coast and I have been having to work through most of the weekend to keep the general public from going into panic mode over this little weather system. Turned out to be a really tame spirit after it worked Florida over, but we had to be on duty just in case it got nasty. It is rainy this AM, but we've had lots worse. Everyone have a great day. Happy morning after, Tonya!

Eat your heart out, Robert. We are having sunshine down here.
Late good morning everyone. Had a hell of a weekend being a Civil Defense weenie all through TS Fay. It was a fizzle, but it sure did drop some rain on everyone. I sent our share up to Starkville so Robert cold get the dirt off his bike. No sleep does crappy things to you. Just as I was dozing off last night at home, my brother called with news that his wife had a heart attack, so I am now on 3 days with minimal shuteye. Everyone else have a great day!

Good morning Friends!!!!! Guess what??? It's raining here again today!!!! Day 7 in a row!!!! :430:
Sunny and hot on the Left Coast...oh that is a surprise...rode to work...oh that is a surprise...s'pose to be brutally hot byt he weekend....
All you east coaster inhale deeply and suck all this moisture out to the Atlantic...I want a relatively dry ride to Texas...I don't mind a little rain, but those t-storms do dampen the spirit of the ride...
I confirmed a warmup ride of about 500 miles on Sunday the 7th before my trek east...from the cool coast of HWY 1 to blazing hot desert town to Ridgecrest...that will be a tuneup day...
All stay safe.............

Mornin all, rainin here in the land of Oz. Supposed to get warm here today as well.
Tonya, your dining/den did look a tad empty when we were there. I'd say book cases are in order, as well as a couch, desk, table and chairs and coffee table, just to name a few.:059:

:polar:You are absolutely right and it still looks the same for the most part. I do have a dining room table and chairs now though that I bought off of the Seminole Dollar Days on the local radio station. I refuse to incur more debt (in addition to the debt I incurred moving out here) and apparently I have expensive taste in furniture, soooooo, I'll have to make do until I get something paid off or save enough to buy the leather furniture I want.

Morning y'all!!!!!!
We did most of the "Ride Home" yesterday in the rain due to Fay. It is just a few more hours of riding this morning and we will be in Milwaukee, USA. We have not seen anything in Illinois except for cornfields, windmills and silos. The camera stayed packed due to the weather yesterday so hopefully the secretary of defense will get some pics today. I had a chance to rip on the Screamin' Eagle 110 on a straight stretch of roadway in northern Kentucky. The new Bushtec Roadstar will trail comfortably behind the Screamin' Eagle Ultra at 105 MPH...... :D

They're calling for rain today but it is time to go check out the events for the HOG 25th Anniversary. I enjoy watching the drill teams and stunt shows.
