Mornin folks. The weatherman says it will cool off today. Saturday and Sunday were in the low 90's and today's high will be about 81 with 25 knot winds out of the NE, no rain forecasted so I'll make sure I have my rain gear on the bike.
I got out to the ABATE meeting yesterday. After the meeting, about 80 bikes ran down to the Keltics MC annual party, and from there, we headed out to the 'glades. I got in about 100 miles.

Got to try out my GPS...in the truck, not on the bike as I had three generations to haul a hundred miles and a pickup bed full of STUFF...GPS is cool...wish I would have had it the last two years on some of the back country in Utah and Colorado...

It's those 50 mph gusts that get my attention.Saturday afternoon late I was riding south of LaMesa when the cold front started blowing in. It was blowing at least 40 mph. I was in the middle of farm land. I came to the intersection of 828 and 829 and didn't have a clue where I was. The road was obscured with blowing red dirt, the air was full of blowing red dirt and I stopped to pull out my map. It immediately became apparent that was not a good move when the map disentegrated into shreds. I crumpled the map into a ball, stuck it in my bag and decided if I went east or north I surely reach a road I knew. Which, of course, is exactly what happened. This is an amazing place to ride. I feel like I'm learning all over again! :Angel_anim:

Got a cure for that.......reload factory default disk...oh, you had a project on that harddrive and YOU DIDN'T BACK IT UP TO THE SERVER...oh shucks....TDB....been known to do that to "repeat" problem Teachers also...they whine all the way to the Superintendent...but I am still working here..

Yeah, we do that a lot here, too. I have one teacher that had a fetish for Limewire. Now, he has to ask his kids to look stuff up for him because his office computer is locked down---zero internet access. He can't even log into the system anymore. I be playin' dumb!
As for the kiddies, they spend most of their day trying to find ways around the filters we have in place to keep them off of myspace and other similarly lovely sites.

Mornin, foggy here this a.m. with about a quarter mile visibility. No rain in the forecast until the weekend, CRAP! Seems like the nice days are during the week when I'm working. Oh well, we need the moisture for everything in the plant kingdom.

State subject area testing means I get to keep my first period cretins until lunch time. then my off period is occupied with a meeting to tell us the same thing about our state test that we get told every year (security of test that everyone has a copy of but us). Then we have a faculty meeting for an hour after school. One more year! One more year! One more year!

Mornin folks. The rainstorm from hell just came through here! We got about 2" of rain in under 10 minutes. I couldn't see the the house across the street, maybe 70 feet away. Weatherman says 40% chance of rain and a high of 85 ..... I really want to ride today.... Gotta check the radar before picking a direction.

Mornin yawl, raining here in the Land of Oz. Cloudy and cold predicted for the next couple of days then a gradual warming too the weekend.

Headed to Oklahoma City this weekend for the Thunder Run and Thunder Custom Cycles. Anyone care to join us, it is just for Saturday and Sunday but should be fun? Just look for a campground with around 30 or so Big Dog bikes all gathered around tents and swilling cold beverages.:HaHaHa:

Mornin folks. The sun actually is out this morning. It never stopped raining for more than a half hour yesterday so saddle time was limited to under 20 miles. Today looks better, but work may get in the way of what's really important.
It's 72 on the way to 83 with still a 30% chance of getting wet.

Good morning. I guess I am getting ready toget the remains of Kenny's rain. It's overcast here and threatening to dump on us any minute. Last week of work before Spring break next week. Can't wait for the much needed vacation. I am exhausted from a weekend of rebuilding my radio room. Still got a lot of work left to do, so I'll be tired and aching all week.

I should have napped too. What started out looking like an easy day, turned into a 6 hour job 100 miles north of here. 6 hour's work, an hour to head to Home Depot for parts needed and 4 hours on the road.
I left the shop at 2:15 and got home at 10:45. I was on the road to that first easy job at 8:45.

It was 70 something when I left Cowtown at 4:00am, but it's cold and windy in Seminole! Did y'all miss me while I was gone? :D :Angel_anim:
