We have the right to bare arms in the United States of America!
Sometimes they do get it right!

I don't think the mayor of DC sees it that way...he's already putting conditions on it.

It's HUGE! The 2nd amendment has been defined as an American's individual right. Let the legal challenges to all the bullshit restrictions begin.

Oh I'm sure challenges will come but so will more law suites against gun bands throughout the rest of America.
This will be a good fight.

One thing about a Supreme Court decision, there's no appealing it, so things can only get better, From what I hear, Chicago and San Francisco are next, but from what I see, those cities aren't likely to put up much fight, though "State's Rights" could be an issue. The decision seems to eliminate that avenue, but I'm sure some lawyer will try that angle.
What interests me is the fact that the Mayor of DC seems to think that semi-automatic handguns will still be illegal in his city. The logic there is flawed. He seems to think that my .44 S&W magnum is OK, but my .22 PPK is somehow more dangerous.

Look at it like this....he and his ilk have been blaming handguns for the problems of DC all along regardless of the type or caliber of the weapon. So that bit of flawed thinking should prepare us for whatever other flawed thinking is yet to come from these people. I am hoping that when all of the BS fumes begin to disipate, the so called leaders of cities such as DC with the huge crime rates will beging to focus on their real problems instead of on guns as a cause.

It won't take long for law abiding citizens to start arming themselves. . .it will be interesting to see the results when that happens. I'm thinking after the first dozen defensive acts crime will drop.

That close and the idiots can't see it. Or better yet...perhaps they just don't want to see it because that doesn't fit in with their agenda.
