Obama Double Standard?

I am trying to determine if the press is going to give Obama a pass on his stance on his preacher and then condemning Imus for, at least in my opinion, something far less offensive. I know this is going to get ugly in the media eventually, but it is interesting how the press is trying so hard to sugar coat this latest glitch in Obama's campaign. Does anyone detect a double standard here?

Well sure! The double standard has been around for 40 years. Churches like Reverend Wright's are not rare at all. Imagine what would happen if black America learned of a lily white church somewhere that was as racially charged as the one Obama attends. The building would be ashes before morning and the press would would be pushing the Nobel Prize committee to give the arsonists next year's Peace Prize.
