Today starts the battle all over again. The supreme courts are going to deside again if we have the right to bare arms! I know I'll be watching this closely. It all started again in Washington D.C cause a lady is sueing to have the right there to have a handgun.
I'm all for it personally, I think all US citizens that fall within the giude lines set up already should be trained to carry one!

I will tell you this........
I don't much care which way they rule.
I can read.
The 2nd Amendment says it is my right.
I can.
I will.
The end.

Well I have listened to as much of the arguments on it as I can get and it is leaning towards pro gun. So I just hope it stays that way.

Near as I can recall, most of them thar judges have to be able to read, and if they can read, they can plainly see taht the 2nd Amendment says the government has no legal authority to deny us the right to own handguns. I'd have to say we will win this one.

It sounds easy, but don't forget the Liberal component of the court. They read differently than most folks.
It should be a unanimous decision, but the vote will fall out more like 5 to 4.

Well, Ginsberg will surely be anti gun. Kennedy is a hunter, so he may not be on the anti side on this one. The other two libs, who knows. But this is where we separate the true liberals from the true conservatives as I see it. Conservatives can read the Constitution and interpret the words (as I believe is their job on the Court). The libs won't read it and dictate what they want it to mean.

From what I read here, I was right about Ginsberg, but it looks like everyone else is piling on and really making an ass of the DC lawyer.

yep, I heard it on CSPAN Monday night (AUDIO) , some of the questions, blew me away, but all in all ,it sounded like the pro gunners will win this one.
There was interviews with the DC cult/ BRADEY BUNCH, on the steps of the S.C. house, and they were spouting off BS about crime will go up, BAH, BAH, BAH.

Crime in DC can't go up much more than it has. Maybe after a few thugs get blown away when they pick on the wrong victim in the future will start things moving in the right direction.

It'll be a while before the official opinion gets released, but by the way the proceedings went, I think we won this one!

And maybe this will be the beginning of a wave of decisions that tell the world that this government has too long been making laws that they had no right to make and intruding into the lives of its citizens. The more I read the Bill of Rights, the more I am convinced that it doesn't grant us one single liberty or right, but rather stands against the government preventing it from taking them from us!

Now if we could just get Congress and the Supreme Court to read it.
