Wait until you see phreak's place in Stockdale. By the time he's finished, we wil have vacation spots everywhere.

I know he is envious of kd5cqt's and the gauntlet has been thrown.

As I understand it and according to the bulletin I just got from the EOC weather warning system, we have a bad weather system due in here Monday with possibility of tornadoes (I do so love March down here). I have 2 of them bullseyes on my property, so this may get interesting. And the insurance is paid in full:).

I hate these damn storms!
We are on the side of a hill with no protection at all if one comes through. The only things going for us is that we are in a house and that the sirans are close enough to hear inside, there's just no place to hide!

But I'd still like to see that place :)

Had 2 beautiful t-shirt weather days for the weekend and then I had to batten down all of the loose stuff on the property looking for winds , thundernasties, and possible tornadies. This is March and it is gonna suck weather-wise.

A rather quiet night here considering all of the warnings we were getting. Glad up north didn't get hammered too bad, but I hear that a tornadoe hit Camp Shelby and injured 14 soldiers. That's not too far from here.

You might be very surprised to see a lot of that down here with the new FEMA guidelines for elevation that you hve to met to get a permit to rebuild a house or replace a mobile home (spelled trailer). Some are actually jacking their homes up on wooden pilings or cinder blocks as shown here. Next hurricane, you'll see these structures flying thru the air like frisbees all the way to Memphis.
