Okay, the GF and I talked it over and we're on for Junction the first week of May. Anybody have an idea as to how many rooms are available at the motel? I'll try and call this weekend for reservations, which days should I reserve? Tonya, do you feel like putting up with me and Kay one night and we'll ride down together?:241: When are you planning on going?

As you can see, we Kansans get a little cornfused about arrangements. Sounds like a lotta fun. Oh, will cold refreshments be served in case of warm weather of which I know nothing about at this time.:HaHaHa:

Thanks for the help.

That's the long way going that far west, isn't it?

I haven't even made my reservations for this year yet.

Tonya---Are we going to the Lazy T or to -----What's the other one? Sun Valley? I'll have to look it up.

I know, Kay wants to take it easy going down and see the sights as we go. It's a 14 or so hours down there on two lane roads. I'm not one to take 4 lane if I don't have too.

Just pick a motel that's clean, I prefer the small mom and pop places anyway. Folks always seem pretty hospitable and willing to please at the right ones.

We're just going with the flow as this thing comes together.:HaHaHa:

Yeah, west TX looks a lot like the part of Kansas I saw, but with oil wells. There are things out there, but they are few and very far between. There's not much but cotton fields from Palo Duro until you get down into Alpine, which is a whole lot of area and maybe the long way to get to Junction. Ms T can correct me if I'm wrong.

If you go through DFW, we have tall buildings you can look at and good CFS. :071:

Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there any baggers home?

Come on, now.

Well I can ease your pain,
Get you on your floorboardz again.

Relax.
I need some information first.
Just the basic facts:
Can you show me where it hurts?

There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant bagger’s smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.:Waving:
Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.

Ya killing me:HaHaHa:
1- I've ridden ,(test ride) bagger's they don't FEEL right FOR ME.
so this is no slam.Different spokes for different folks.
They feel out of balance, tons of wind resistance, and are slower than a regular bike.
2- Riding a bike with the wind hitting me , is what I like.
Bessie is lowered ,ridez like a tank, and I love it, I feel the road.( sometimes TOO MUCH)
Every car and bike I have ever had I set up like this.
3- AT 61 I'm in damn good shape, still enjoy the challenge of riding a purest bike.( that's a name I've heard from other none baggers. Yes there are some of us out here.LOL)
Hell last Aug. I rode from LOveland CO. to Belton, TX. ( 960 miles by my tripometer) in 21.5 hrs. and I loved it.Just me, my bike, and the wind.:241:
I do wear a FULL-FACE helmet.
Now on the utter hand, years ago, I sez..I'll NEVER ride a HARLEY, they're TOO DAMN SLOW" LOL so I guess I have slowed down some.:241:
So maybe when I hit 80, I may get a bagger.
4- For right now the biggest thing I miss by not having a bagger is my MUSIC.
I do enjoy making CD;s for the bagger ride's ,cause I know how much joy there is in riding and tune jammin'.

I have seen pics of this phantom called Leadbelly...but he hasn't appeared at any of the places I have been...not sure he is not a TEXAS LEGEND....

Kenny :polar:
I was living in Seminole Texas when this visit happened. Bear and Kaye spent the night with me and then we rode down to Junction from there. Bear and Kaye also got to meet the Lamesa Cowboy. Speaking of which, he's getting married. No, not to me. . . :071:

He patched in and stays very busy with the club when not working. I run into him once in a great while.
