Ok, this year is going to be full of trips, and I'm trying to organize myself (yeah, I know, good luck!).

I know that Junction is the first weekend in May. I think Leadbelly was also talking about another trip to Big Bend sometime in May, then there is the ROT rally in June, then there is Eureka Springs in June, but I don't remember when all these things happen. I'm trying to remember, some others, but they escape me.

The big trip for me this year: In late September I will be riding out west. My brother is turning 50 this year, and wants to celebrate by riding through Arizona, Utah, 4-corners area. Probably a week long thing, meet them in Phoenix, ride for a week, then ride home.

If Junction is the first weekend in May, that Friday is May 2. I took vacation for Thursday May 1- Monday May 5 for that one. ROT is June 5, 6, 7 & 8. Eureka Springs is June 9-12. I scheduled vacation for June 5-15 for those two. I am so looking forward to this! :071:

Your trip with your brother sounds really cool!

I'm tentative on Junction but have Eureka Springs all set and ready to go.:241:

Somebody fill me in on what to expect if I try and make Junction? How many people and where to stay would be good starters. Maybe I'd better ask if Kansans are welcome or not, seems like most of the people that are going to be there are Texicans.:HaHaHa:

Not sure what will happen after those two trips.

Last May was the first one I made and it was attended by all the now named Cloudriders. . .

Dinero & Tailgunner, LittleBear, Sparky, txhawg, and phreak. . . I just know I'm leaving someone out!

We did it again in September and it was well attended by doofs, zints and cloudriders.

We stay at:

Lazy T Motel
2043 Main St
Junction, TX 76849
(325) 446-2565

The rooms are pretty plain, but clean, around $40 per night. It's one of those old fashioned U-shaped moter hotels and of course, the party is in the parking lot every evening.

The riding is wonderful. I love the Texas HIll Country. . .y'all come! :Angel_anim:

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a calendar where all the dates could be listed? :HaHaHa:

I put the Junction event on the calendar. . .there are riders that will be leaving Junction to go to Big Bend, but I'm not one of them and I'm not sure they have a specific agenda.

My agenda is always flexible and I never guarantee where I'm going to be tomorrow.

Oh. And that's subject to change.

That keeps Tailgunner guessing as to when she can hit the department stores for a little shopping for herself, right?:HaHaHa::071:
