The leg is getting stronger, but the lawyer isn't. Even the new lawyer is strangely silent so far. Hard for me to borrow Billy's Ultra lately since he is now retired and wants to ride whenever I do. My brother has an old RK that has a slight ignition problem we are working on. If I can get that fixed, I may have to take it out for that mechanics mandatory test ride (like about 300 miles worth).

Inasmuch as you are the work crew and thus the most senior person there, you should be able to pick whatever the hell you want to have as vacation. And since it seemed pretty obvious that no one else manned that CDO you are now in for some time, it should not be a matter of what the relief guy wants.

My boss has 16 in her crew. . .13 comm techs and 2 frame attendants. All the comm techs are on the same vacation schedule because we must cover all co's at all times. When I go on vacation someone drives 80 miles out here to work my orders and tickets. Out of the 13 I am next to last in seniority. With July 1 being in the same week as July 4, I should have known I wouldn't get it. . . With the distance it's gonna take a couple of days for me to get there and a couple of days to get home. . .not complaining. . .just sayin'.
