Saturday Vesta and I fired up the Harleys and rode east through the canyons to Lancaster HD. Need a tail light lens for my WideGlide. They didn't have one. We rode to a greasy spoon in the high desert for a burger. Rode home through another canyon. Don't want to go home the same way you came. About 93 miles for a burger and a great case of heart burn.
Sunday we rode West through the orange groves to Ventura Harley. They didn't have the lens either......guess I could have called.....Naaaa. Stopped at Chuey's for a killer bowl of chili and home for a birthday party for #3 son.
It has been in the mid to high 80's all week. Gotta love the weather here in So. Cal.

The weather has been unseasonably cold here in Middle Tennessee the last few days. Things definitely look promising for riding this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend......

Rode Friday with a bud up to Tekopa Hot Springs and over to Shoshone for lunch, couple hundred miles in all. Saturday, Sugar and I rode around the lake, and stopped at a sidewalk cafe in Boulder City for a bite. Sunday, Sugar & I met up with another buddy, and we rode through Searchlight, up to Nipton for a burger, and then into Cima and Kelso, which put another couple hundred on the scooter.
We have been in the mid to upper 70's so it's perfect riding weather here. It's looking like a cool down is on the way, so I'm glad I got some miles on while I could...

Rode Sunday, only about 30 miles. It started getting cold when the sun went down so we headed home.

Been staying off the back roads lately. Gun season started last weekend and Bambi is all over the place on the roads getting away from the hunters. And the weekend cagers are going out of their way to practice bad driving. Not good for riding at all anywhere right now...and it is freezing outside.

Did a toy run Sunday, 65* with sun and no wind. Dayum, what a gorgeous day to make some kids happy.
