Yeah, years of habit compounded by advancing age still doing the same thing does contribute to muscle memory at the very least.

I'll always remember how to ride and if Dad is anything to compare myself to, I have more than 15 years on 2 wheels. Dad is 90 and gave up his bike at 75.
