The storms that kept rolling in forced us to go more north and east so we went through LA, MS, AL, TN, WVA, North and South Carolina, GA and then headed back home.

We did ride the Natchez Trace and the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as a lot of other great roads. Saw a lot of beautiful scenery and met some pretty good folks along the way.

No wonder it took you so long to get down here! I'm surprised to see so much green up north. Last time I rode up there in October, it was a lot of red, orange, and brown.

Some of the leaves were just beginning to turn. It will take several more weeks for the full Fall foliage to be out.

I was kinda partial to the weather chickie, nice touch. Thanks for sharing Dinero, good pics and yeah I'm jealous.
