Too complicated for this poor, old country boy.
Nah. We went a different way. Going down, it was a ten-hour ride stretched out over two days (The Slab). Coming back, it was a 16-hour ride stretched out over two days (back roads).

Speaking of back roads, how did Hwy 84 work out? Haven't been down that road in over 25 years.

Nice 4 lane all across Mississippi. 2 lane across Louisiana and they are making no attempt to upgrade. Are IH 10 and IH 20 the only 4 lane roads in Louisiana?

No, they have an IS49 that goes N-S from Lafayette to Shreveport. Airline Hwy 61 used to be 4 lane, but I think the garbage thrown out of car windows has some of those lanes blocked.

Garbage thrown out of the car windows? You mean they don't have the jail mates picking that stuff up like they do here?

They do.
All across the state we saw the green striped white suits walking the bar ditches.
The first group was just down from Darryl's as we left. Did I tell you he has pull?

Nope. It is all those Fontenot and White people.
Darryl is what he wants to be (except for the not-retired part).
