How much dang investigating they gotta do? He was drunk, he passed on a double yellow, killed a guy... Looks pretty clear cut to me. Sounds like stalling to me. Maybe if he drove as slow as our criminal justice system moves, he wouldn't be in hot water right now.

Okay, I'm going to play devils advocate here for just a minute. . .I know I've gotten behind the wheel of a car a time or two when I'd had more than I should. . .probably not twice the legal limit, but certainly more than I should. . .I'm just very, very glad nothing like this ever happened to me. He has to be devastated. . .I know I would be.

It has happened before with him. He is not devastated. He is only using his money to get out of it.

You want to know who is devastated? The family of the other other guy.

I have no sympathy for Billy. Hang his ass.

I've been toasted a time or two behind the wheel myself, but I still had the sense enough to not do stupid things while driving. If anything, I was paranoid careful. I wouldn't say I was a better driver UTI, and my reaction times and coordination was probably significantly impared, but I was still careful, and didn't do things like pass on a double yellow or anything like that. I was just careful and got my drunk butt home. Not saying it's right, but I'm no angel to be sure. However...

If I DID cause and accident, or at worse KILL someone, I would EXPECT to pay the price. I wouldn't make excuses, I wouldn't expect to be let off easy, I would WANT to do everything I could possibly to to right the wrong, even though in most cases, that can't be done. It's because I feel this way, that I feel Billy should pay the price for his actions.

Same here, but that for me was over 15 years ago. I was young, dumb, full of cum, 10 foot tall, and bullet proof (read stupid). This guy is a grown man, grown men should know better. 2 is my limit if I'm driving and even then I try to wait at least an hour after the last one before heading out. More then 2 and the boss lady is behind the wheel. His money is keeping him free right now. I just hope this doesn't turn into another OJ.

I do not see anyone being for the better as a result of bad decisions on Billy's part on that fateful day.

I'm sure that if it were a family member of mine that was killed I would want to see justice done.

If it happened to be me in Billy's boots I would beg for mercy.

Life is not fair and sometimes that bothers me more than other times.
