Wow! There has to be more to this story. . .

Authorities have released the name of the woman who died early Sunday evening in a motorcycle accident near Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.

Melanie McWright of Bedford was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office. Earlier reports listed her age as 30, but the medical examiner's office said she was 44.

McWright was riding on the back of a motorcycle that was pushed by a gust of wind into a guardrail about 7 p.m. on the exit from northbound Texas 360 to westbound Texas 183, police said.

The woman was thrown off the bridge and onto an exit ramp below. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the motorcycle was not seriously injured, police said.

Speed probably was not a factor in the accident, police said.

Between 7 and 9pm I was northbound on I-35 on my way home from Waco. . . was it really that windy in Cowtown during that time?

It wasn't windy in Justin. And if it's windy in the DFW area it's extra windy in Justin....

The man's a genius! I need to figure out how to crash into a guardrail, not get hurt, but have my ex-wife fly off the back of my bike, falling to her death below, and all I have to say is "it was windy". Genius, pure genius.
